Q: What is'Apex'? Is it a company? A brand name?
A: 'Apex' refers to Apex Plastic Industries, Inc. which was in business
from 1926 through 2006, and acquired by Gane Brothers & Lane in 2006. Apex
pioneered Patent PVC film from Japan in more vibrant colors - and with
greater performance - than any other Patent product line. Apex became
synonymous with a wide range of specialty vinyl film products such as High
Tech, Marble Prints, Mira Vinyl tm and Cracked Ice, Marquis D'Suede
Supported Expanded film, Polyester Prismatic film and sheets, as well as a
whole host of customized specialty films. The Apex name means
specialty, quality, high-end vinyls designed for a wide variety of
industries. Gane Brothers has acquired the Apex name for selected use on key
products because the name is a brand of familiarity denoting quality and
singularity.
Q: What is ' The Apex Line from Gane '?
A: The Apex Line of products from Gane Brothers & Lane represent the many
diverse and popular products sold under the Apex corporate name and logo
before 2006. The Gane/Apex Product line continues the tradition of the tried and true Apex materials, keeping the same product and part names, to aid in a seamless usage transition for current as well as past users worldwide.
Q: What are some of the other 'Apex' products?
A: RIGID VINYL SHEETS, Prism films, tape and sheets, slitting services,
Neon Patent, Vinyl coated Nylon and Vinyl Coated Mesh---and the singular
ability to source, service and 'customize' products for a wide range of
industries - from fashion accessories to national security'; from arts and
crafts to signage; from display to Housewares; from healthcare to party
décor; from table coverings to Looseleaf binders; from desk blotters to ice
buckets.
